2021 Review: Thank you for a special & soulful celebration

Wow. What a weekend that was….

As we’re sat here looking at the dreary drizzle outside, we feel even luckier that – after a long wait of two years – The Cambridge Club was able to return (with the sunshine in tow!) for our first-ever, full-weekend festival.

And boy, was it worth the wait…

The atmosphere you all created at Childerley Orchard was electric, from start to finish. You made a wonderful celebration even more special, after months of empty fields & silent speakers came to a glorious end.

We want to thank our incredible team who put the shows together. Over 500 people, working with crews from across the country, joined forces at our beautiful new site to build and deliver the event after months of virtual prep.

We have never been on such a smiley, happy site, and the feel-good festival spirit was in full flow. Everyone worked phenomenally hard to make this happen, and it has been so rewarding to hear all the amazing positive feedback about the event. It really does make it all worth it.

All our amazing artists put on a real show to remember, many of them getting emotional with CC being their first festival performance in a few years.

Shalamar, Beverley Knight, Rag’n’Bone Man , Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sara Cox, Jack Savoretti, Soul II Soul, Uncle Funk's Disco Inferno, Party Time-Continuum (and of course Renee the dancing steward!) – plus all the others acts and DJs – you all brought the house down, so thank you for making memories for us.

Finally, thank YOU, our incredible audience! To everyone who supported, attended and danced the day and night away, it meant the world to see you all together again – and we can’t wait to welcome you all back next year.

On that note, we have huge plans in store for CC 2022, as we move back to our usual June weekend. Check back in for ticket release and date announcement, coming very soon.

Oh, and we have an UNBELIEVABLE lineup to share with you too – but more on that in the next few weeks…
