Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to DJ at CC 2022

We’ve kept this under wraps for the last few months, but we are overwhelmed to reveal that the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will be performing exclusively at this June’s The Cambridge Club Festival.

To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in style, Wills and Kate will be doing a DJ set in The Orchard on the Saturday evening – with the royals themselves joining musical royalty like Diana Ross, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, The Jacksons and many more.

Appearing as DJ Duke and MC Middleton, the duo have revealed that this project has been in the pipeline for some time – the product of parties at The Palace, the Queen’s passion for MC-ing, and getting some DJ decks to busy themselves during lockdown.

Prince William said: ‘We can’t wait to spin some tunes together, live on stage for the first time. I’ve always kind of been the resident Royal DJ, playing plenty of parties at the Palace over the years. Granny is actually a mean MC too when she wants to be, and used to really get the royals going at family gatherings. We took the roof off Balmoral Castle for my Father’s 90th birthday a few years back, with an epic four-hour set. Kate and I then started spinning together in lockdown, and we’re delighted to bring our DJ set to a festival for the first time this June.’

His Royal Highness and The Duchess of Cambridge’s three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – will also all be attendance, but they are more excited about seeing Dick & Dom DJ at the Magic Star children’s area than their parents’ performance.
