In 2013 Chestnut was small, with big ambition, to showcase East Anglia as a vastly underrated and undiscovered region. The vision was and remains to create accessible, welcoming and unique environments for our guests, all with their own character and soul. Ten years on we have created our charitable foundation, Giving Tree, and continue to learn more about our guests, ensuring we continue to refine our offering and be relevant.

The Carpenters Arms

Serving the community for 250 years, The Carpenters Arms has a long tradition of genuine hospitality. The wow factor is our glass eatery, which wraps itself around the original pub, filling the colourful, vibrant interiors with light and air. The history of the building is celebrated with exposed beams, warm oaks and open fires.

The Three Blackbirds

Experience award-winning, locally-sourced food – and cosy characterful rooms in the converted barn behind our charming 17th Century village pub, The Three Blackbirds. Following a devastating fire in 2018, we worked tirelessly to bring this fantastic building back to life ensuring we retained its unique charm, whilst adding a few modern twists and bursts of colour.
