CC 2023: What's in store, and Who's on When?

It's freeeezing! So we’re warming up by thinking ahead to next summer – and all the heat coming off next June’s lineup at sunny Childerley Orchard… 🥵🔥⁠

To help get you excited, here’s a rundown of each stage and what to expect at CC 2023. It's going to be fuller and funkier than ever before. Find out what’s in store below!

ICONIC ARTISTS take the stage

Our Main Stage plays host to some of the world’s biggest music stars – fresh new talent and old favourites alike – across the worlds of Disco, Funk, Soul and R&B. Performing live across each of our three days, here’s how it looks:

FRIDAY 9 JUNE

The truly fearless GRACE JONES will open the festival on Friday night with her electrifying presence – to unleash a new-wave disco set to remember. Plus there will be another big special guest announce in the new year…

Festival favourites Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno are also back to give a fiery funk-fuelled Friday set, complete with the wildly entertaining outfits. 

SATURDAY 10 JUNE

We welcome global superstar and four-time Grammy winner LIONEL RICHIE – who we guarantee will have you dancing All Night Long.

Dance hit-maker SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR will be stepping onto the stage for what will be a very groovy disco performance. R&B icon LEMAR will bring his soothing, melodic vocals, and legendary DJ JO WHILEY will bring a 90’s anthem-fuelled set. 

SUNDAY 11 JUNE

The masterful KOOL & THE GANG  bring the celebration to the CC stage on Sunday! From the tough funk of “Jungle Boogie,” to the smooth soul of “Summer Madness”, to the singalong euphoria of “Celebration” – prepare to Get Down On It with these legends.

The best-selling Black British male artist of all time BILLY OCEAN will get everyone dancing with his greatest hits and crowd favourites. Disco trio ODYSSEY will make for an ultimate throwback in the sun, and CRAIG CHARLES makes a triumphant return as chief connoisseur of funk and soul.

DISCO, DJS & DANCING DAY ‘TIL NIGHT

Dance from daylight to dusk at the Discovery Den – our dedicated dancefloor in the beautiful Orchard.

The Discovery Den will be a dance music hub between the trees, with leading DJs spinning from day into night.  – including DJ FAT TONY, drag queen-come-DJ extraordinaire JODIE HARSH, plus COLLEEN ‘COSMO’ MURPHY, DENISE VAN OUTEN and many more.

As the sun sets, the party doesn’t stop, as the campers-exclusive After Dark stage hosts Party-Time Continuum – with sets from EATS EVERYTHING (Saturday) ,DAN SHAKE (Friday), THE LONDON DISCO SOCIETY (Friday) and more for a blend of bangers and anthems ‘til the early hours.

To extend your dance at the Party-Time Continuum, you must have a weekend WITH camping ticket to enter. Don’t miss iconic sets from a selection of some of the finest DJs - grab your weekend tickets now!

MORE THAN JUST THE MUSIC… 

A haven for the focused and free-spirited, our unique Arts area – the Auditorium of Intrigue – offers an entertaining escape between the boughs of the beautiful Orchard. Ensnare yourself in thought-provoking discussion, roar with laughter at cutting-edge comedy, or relax in the most scenic area of the site.

Don’t miss Irish funny man ANDREW MAXWELL on Saturday alongside Paul Thorne, Glenn Wool & many more! 

Expect belly laughs and comedy gold with ED BYRNE on Sunday – plus Andy Askins, Ninia Benjamin & more…

Available to all ticket holders on Saturday and Sunday throughout the day. 

CHILDREN & FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

Our expanded family entertainment area, the Imagination Station, will captivate little minds – with its colourful array of activities, arts and crafts, live music and games, for all ages to explore and enjoy. Hosted by Tootles & Nibs, the theatre company that refuses to grow up, in the beautiful Orchard.

Available all weekend, day or weekend ticket required. Activities available at no extra cost.

THE PADDOCK & CLUBHOUSE

Fancy going glam for a memorable festival experience next summer? Premium or Hospitality Access may be just the ticket for you! 

THE PADDOCK (Premium) 

New for 2023, The Paddock is the place to be. Our new premium, private covered area in prime position on the festival site – adjacent to the main stage – specially designed to help you unwind, relax and make for a memorable experience.

Premium Access ticket holders can enjoy an exclusive cocktail bar, comfy seating, delicious food traders, and upgraded toilets. Plus a view of the main stage so you can see the action, here the tunes, and relish the moment.

THE CLUBHOUSE (Hospitality)

The Clubhouse is our top-tier ticket. Revel in luxury and enjoy a full five-star festival experience, with Hospitality Access and exclusive perks. You will be able to relax in lovely indoor surroundings with high-class decor, when you need a moment to chill and unwind – whilst indulging in a menu of gourmet cuisine and delicious complimentary drinks, courtesy of our on-site chefs and hospitality experts.

There is also a private outdoor space complete with a view of the main stage – a beautiful garden with tables and seating, so you can sit and savour the atmosphere. Plus upgraded toilets and fast track entry to the festival when your arrive too, for good measure. 

Both these areas and access levels are available as either Day or Weekend ticket options (camping or non-camping) – but are exclusively reserved for guests aged 18 and over. 

Just choose either The Paddock (Premium Access) or The Clubhouse (Hospitality Access) when you select your tickets. These include access to the main festival site as well, of course, as you would get with a standard ticket.
